        Mistresses usually clean up in the huts and bleach room, decorate fireplace with flowers, lay new or clean laundered linen and towels.         Every housewife traditionally keeps the number of dishes at the banquet table equal to twelve.

        After supper, which normally lasts 3-4 hours, kutya and some other dishes are not taken from the table and are left with a glass of clean water and a towel for spirits.

That evening the divination is committed, and gifts from parents are given to children with money and gifts that symbolize prosperity and wealth.

        In the Christmas it is normally to go to church, and while returning one should greet people by saying: "Christ is born, glorify him!".
